  1. This calculation is for the exclusive use of merchants that operate supermarkets under the name SuperValue or FreshChoice as franchisees of Wholesale Distributors Limited.
  2. The purpose of this calculator is to allow merchants  to input their existing payments related costs in order to get an estimate of the cost of using payments services provided by Wpay New Zealand Limited (Wpay NZ). The estimate is limited by the inputs provided and as such should be relied upon as an indication only.
  3. The calculator uses the following assumptions –
    1. Input sales turnover and costs are entered accurately by the merchant
    2. The merchant is aware of their current payment service provider’s merchant service cost levies
    3. The merchant is aware of their current payments service provider costs 
  4. The calculator assumes that an average contactless debit transaction is 57 NZD.
  5. The calculator is not intended to be used to make a final decision on using WPay NZ’s services but as an indication only. Each merchant is responsible for obtaining independent advice before making any financial decision.
  6. The data inserted into the calculator may be collected, stored and analysed by Wpay NZ to give you an estimate of the costs of using Wpay NZ’s payment services and to allow Wpay NZ to determine the competitiveness of its own costs. The data will not be shared with any other Woolworths Group entity or third party.
